I was born and trained as a psychiatrist in Britain, and have spent the bulk of my working life in North America, where the majority of these tales are set.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am an award-winning teacher of psychiatry to medical students and want to use my classroom enthusiasm to reach a broader audience.
I am working on a book of these tales, but five chapters have already been published in different medical humanities journals – The Examined Life, Ars Medica, Intima, The Perch, and Hektoen International.
